Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

There are currently many children with dental and aural health problems affecting their development. Tooth decay can cause further infections in eyes, sinuses, nose, face and throat, and even their heart. The number of available dentists is insufficient for comprehensive coverage, causing difficulty in both prevention and cure. Mobile Dental Units are essential to help these children to an improved quality of life.

Objectives of the project

  1. Provide primary healthcare services for the public, and particularly vulnerable children
  2. Promote knowledge of prevention and child healthcare
  3. Encourage children to use this knowledge to look after their health
  4. Be a part of developing the potential of Thai children.

This Dental Care Unit is Phase 2 of giving service under the project ‘Good Health from Royal Graciousness’ dedicated to HM the King, HM the Queen, and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
